Family Time

I got to sleep in today. Till nine. It's been one of those warm Autumn days. The sun warming through the northern wind. Walking down to the playground I caught our shadows on Big Mans camera.

I decided that this was going to be a family weekend already last weekend when I was away. There is nothing like those lazy mornings in front of the TV, several cups of coffee in a row and slow breakfasts.

Friday night started busily, but in one of my favourite ways. Dinner with the girls, in my new kitchen. So after beating the lines at the supermarket I got to one of my favourite things. Cooking.

Scallops, prawns and mussels were cleaned/pealed/washed. Fresh tomato/parsly/garlic sauce was made. Chocolate cake in the oven, sauvignon blanc in the glass, and the girls arrived. All the ingredients for a fun night were there. And it was.

Saturday morning was lazy like I like it. In fact the whole day was lazy. So fun just hanging with my men. And Big Man and I contiunued lazying with a movie and meal that night. And more sauvignon blanc. Bliss.

We had to take our coats off at the playground. Our friends already there with coffee, cookies and kids. And some older kids turned up with Oh So Cute rabbits. Little Man went wild. And then he slid on the slide about 100 times.

Family Time. It's the best.
