We've been moving rooms around in the house, and I've been looking in drawers and boxes I havn't opened for years. And I found treasure.
The ring above is opal, my birthstone, and my Dad made it for me a few years back. I used to wear rings all the time. Now it fels unnatural.
The bracelet above is from a holiday in Nice, and I've decided to at least try to wear it. Although when I wear it I think I'm wearing a watch and I keep looking for the time.
I put most of my jewelry away when Big Brother was born as he would tug and pull on both earrings and necklaces. I rediscovered these the other day.
It made me remember how much I love turquoise.

I'm not lost! I am traveling.
Seen at my favourite café.
Have already read the book, so I let it travel to someone else.
The words hit me with their profoundness though. Sometimes I "travel" at home not to feel so lost. You'll be suprised what seeing life trhough another pair of glasses might do.
I practice it here.
Every day.
I love Foodstorys slogan. Instant Karma. And with approximately five hours of sleep a night a good coffee feels like karma indeed.
It's called Bookcrossing, and although I havn't seen it in an organized form I've been practicing it for ages.
Anyone want a book?

Six Months Today
This little man is getting bigger. A whole half year. We celebrated with home made chicken nuggets and chocolate cupcakes.
PS: You can find the recipe in my kitchen :-)

I Love Japan
I had to start a new board on Pinterest to accommodate for my country crush: Japan. Here are some of my pins.

Make: Pinboard
I had this IKEA frame with a broken glass, and decided that it was about time I made that pinboard I thought I'd turn it into.
With some fabric, some yellow ribbon and a cheap duna from the same place as the frame, I got a result I'm pretty happy with. I used one of those staple guns to fix it all to the frame. Really a no brainer.
I was so proud to show it off to the boys, but I shouldn't have bothered. Big Man reckoned I could have spent my energy on something other than faffing about.
Men just don't get these things.

Yellow Inspiration
Yellow is the color evoked by light that stimulates both the L and M (long and medium wavelength) cone cells of the retina about equally, with no significant stimulation of the S (short-wavelength) cone cells. - Wikipedia
